We had to have these boxes the minute we first saw them. First of all, they look great. More importantly, they have a combination of great features that you usually can get all in one fly box. Those features are a see-through case for quick identification of your flies, a water resistant seal to keep you flies dry and protected, micro-slit foam to protect the fly box's foam for years of use and to keep your flies neatly spaced in the box, ample room in the box so that dry fly hackles don't get crunched, and very durable.
The small sized UPG fly box is 4.50 inches long by 3.25 inches wide and 1.50 inches thick. It weighs 3.6 oz. and has slits in the foam for a maximum of 274 flies.
The medium sized UPG fly box is 6.00 inches long by 4.125 inches wide and 1.50 inches thick. It weighs 6 oz. and has slits in the foam for a maximum of 508 flies.
The large sized UPG fly box is 7.75 inches long by 4.50 inches wide and 1.50 inches thick. It weighs 9 oz. and has slits in the foam for a maximum of 732 flies.
