The Guidewater Jacket is lightweight and intentionally minimalistic in design so you aren’t weighted down with extra bulk. It is constructed of waterproof/breathable 3-layer stretch nylon. The large front pockets are easy to access even with gloves on and provide access to two large front pockets. The back of the jacket features a water resistant zipper providing access to a large rear pocket.
The Patagonia Guidewater Jacket also features a very comfortable collar and hood design that keeps those chilly raindrops from creeping down your neck, micro-fleece lined hand warmer pockets on the front, and a hidden tool attachment area above the logo on the left chest area. The cuffs are water resistant and tighten down to minimize water wicking up your sleeve when releasing fish.
The Guidewater Jacket is a highly technical jacket that will keep you dry in the hardiest rainstorms but is light enough to pack and travel with. With its longer cut, wear it on the river one day, in the boat the next, wear it around town, or travel with it for the boat ride and occasional downpour on your tropical trip to Belize.
