Loading... Please wait...Patagonia Mesh Master II Vests are lightweight, cool, and fast drying. These attributes make this a great vest for scorching heat and also pounding rain. The mesh design allows air to easily breathe through the vest and keep you cool when you need it. When pouring rain is the problem, the Mesh Master II Vest stays light and doesn’t get waterlogged like other vests. The mesh helps it dry fast and lets your breathable jacket work the way it’s supposed to underneath it.
The Mesh Master II Vest is also a great looking vest. The dark olive color with steel gray accents is so cool looking it’s hard not to mention. Add to this a tremendously well thought-out design and tons of room for fly boxes and gadgets and you have one of the best vests on the market.
Some of the many features include a short cut design for keeping the vest and your gear dry when wading deep. A foam back collar is comfortable and helps distribute weight across your back. The front Velcro closure pockets are easy to get in and out of with one hand. Zippered storage areas behind the front pockets provide even more storage for even very large fly boxes.
On the inside of the vest are two zippered pockets and two Velcro-closure pockets. On the back, there is one large pocket that is perfect for a light rain jacket or lunch. The upper back pocket is placed high on the back to keep dry when wading too deep.
Lots of places to attach retractors, tools, sunglasses, and a removable foam fly keeper are just a few of the other bells and whistles that come with this vest.

Here is what Patagonia has to say about their Mesh Master II Vest:
In a horizontal BC coast deluge or the heat of a high-desert afternoon hopper hatch, our Mesh Master II Vest helps keep you comfortable and fishing efficiently. The light-but-tough 100% polyester mesh body won't sag out in heavy weather and breathes easily in the heat. Our now-classic vertical pocket system provides easy, secure access to everything from big fly boxes to your fish camera. A large, double-zip back storage pocket is set high to keep jacket and lunch out of the water when you're going deep. There's also an EVA foam collar to distribute weight and soothe neck and shoulders. The adjustable front closure allows for varying levels of insulation and layering.
