Trout Beads are the choice bead for big Alaska rainbows or anywhere trout are feeding on eggs. Fish the 8mm and 6mm beads for sockeye eggs. Use the 6mm beads for pink salmon and trout eggs. Use 8mm or 10mm for king and chum eggs. Take a range of colors as the trout can be picky sometimes and color really makes a difference. We recommend the TMC 2499SP-BL hook to use with egg beads. Use size 10 for 8mm beads.
