The big, yellow Hexagenia mayflies hatch in Washington during the last hour of light in July and August. There's not much more fun that watching big fish roll on HUGE, yellow, emerging Hexagenia mayflies. While waiting for that hatch to take place, try fishing Bear's Saddleback Hex Nymph on a full sinking line in areas of the lake with a silt-covered bottom. Size 6 only.
