Designed to provide anglers with a solid foundation of fly fishing knowledge, the Introduction to Fly Fishing course is packed with information. In this class, anglers will learn how to choose appropriate fly fishing equipment, how to identify and imitate particular insects, how to find fish in rivers and lakes, learn basic casting skills and how to tie popular fly fishing knots. The class also provides an overview of fly fishing opportunities in Washington and good places to use your new skills.
Limited to twelve anglers. Two instructors will be present for the casting portion of the class for classes larger than six anglers.
Equipment will be provided upon request.
