Clear intermediate sinking lines can be a deadly tool for trout and other gamefish in shallow lake situations. We even use them off of our local beaches for sea-run cutthroat trout and salmon. Scientific Anglers' Stillwater Line is one of the finest intermediate lines we have seen. Much nicer than previous versions, these lines have very little memory but have a hard enough surface that they simply fly through the guides with ease. The crystal clear color disappears in the clearest lakes and is ideal for those super spooky fish. For the ultimate in stealth, don't forget to fish it with a fluorocarbon leader and tippet.
