This is the perfect line for fishing nymphs in lakes when you want to swim them just a few feet under the surface. The clear tip gives you a stealthy approach to clear, shallow waters but the floating body of the line keeps the tip from sinking too far and too deep. It is excellent for damsel nymphs, callibaetis emergers, scuds, or baitfish patterns in shallow water. In rivers, throw streamers or swing wet flies on this line in shallow riffles or runs or for chucking flies tight to the banks. The length of clear tip varies per line weight and is 6.5 feet on the 4wt, 8 feet on the 5wt, 10 feet on the 6wt, 12 feet on the 7wt, and 14 feet on the 8wt. For optimal performance, try this line with a fluorocarbon leader for better sinking and an even more invisible presentation. The Wet Tip - Clear line has a weight forward taper and is Mist Green in color except the crystal clear tip. The line is 90 feet in total length.
