Could this be the perfect Spey line? That would probably mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but to us, this newer version of the Airflo Delta Spey Multi-Tip is the closest we have seen. With a 55-foot head length, it is a perfect all-purpose line for a multitude of rods and situations. It is an outstanding choice as a first line for a beginner or for a seasoned pro who has cast them all. What makes this line so special? There are a number of things but, first, is the line's taper. Developed by Dec Hogan and Tim Rajeff, the Delta Spey has a smooth turnover and beautiful delivery that experienced anglers will appreciate. The new coatings have eliminated line memory and thin running lines are a welcome change from older versions, as is a slight color change from the head to the running line. In addition is the use of the Airflo Power Core, which dramatically reduces the line's stretch for improved casting performance and hook setting power from long distances. Finally, these Airflo lines offer the finest loops in any multi-tip line we've seen. They are small yet incredibly durable and strong with the line's core going all the way through each loop. The Airflo Delta Spey Multi-Tip comes with the main line body, four 15-foot tips, and a wallet to store your tips. The tips included are a floating tip, intermediate sinking tip (1.5" per second), a type 3 sinking tip (3" per second), and a type 7 sinking tip (7-8 inches per second). Total line length is 120 feet. Color is two-tone mint green.
