Rio's AFS (Advanced Flight Spey) Shooting Head is a short, floating shooting head that features a long front taper for a smooth turnover and a more delicate delivery than what is usually experienced with short, compact heads. This compact design and long front taper makes them a nice fit on shorter Spey rods and also makes them easy to cast and achieve distance. They were also designed with the idea of using sinking leaders (PolyLeaders) which can be looped on to achieve depth, similar to using a sink-tip. In the AFS Shooting Head Kit has everything you need to load-up your reel and be ready to fish. Included in the kit is the shooting line, the AFS Shooting Head, and then three Rio VersiLeaders -- a floating, clear intermediate sinking, and fast sinking. Also included is a wallet to store your VersiLeaders.
