SLF Standard Dubbing is highly popular in steelhead and salmon flies as a substitute for seal fur. SLF is a synthetic material that features long fibers and has a great shimmer to it that looks great on your flies. Not only is it excellent for salmon/steelhead flies, it is perfect for bushy leech patterns when applied with a dubbing loop. Mix in some chopped up Lite-Brite for some flash and even more color combinations.
