The G2's medium action, pinpoint accuracy, light weight, and smooth delivery makes this rod the technical trout angler's dream rod. It excels at short to medium casting distances and delivering long, light leaders to wary fish. The G2 is, however, versatile enough for many applications and has enough power to deliver long casts and bigger flies if need be.
