Simms' Headwaters Waders were introduced for 2009 and are a very lightweight, highly breathable wader. They are packed with features, starting with their construction of 3-layer GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric technology which enables this wader to be so light, breathable, and comfortable. They are also made in the Simms factory in Bozeman, Montana where each wader is checked and tested before going out the door. Other features include a reinforced front leg panel for extra durability and longevity, a front hand warmer pocket with micro-fleece lining, and another front pocket with hook & loop closure and stretch mesh fabric for storing tools, your license or other items. Also, the Headwaters waders have an articulated knee design for additional comfort and less wear on your waders. Gravel guards are built into the stocking feet and a nylon wading belt and a repair kit are also included.
